7.3 Powerstroke Valve Cover Stud Kit – Dieselsite VCSTUD73

Upgrade your valve cover installation with the Dieselsite VCSTUD73 Valve Cover Stud Kit, engineered specifically for the 1994-2003 Ford 7.3L Powerstroke.

These high-quality studs replace the factory bolts and make installing valve covers and gaskets significantly easier while greatly reducing the chance of leaks. The studs provide full thread engagement into the cylinder head for superior clamping force and guarantee exact alignment of the gasket surface between the head and valve cover.

    Key Features:

    • Full engagement in the head threads for better clamping force and a more reliable seal
    • Allen head broached into the studs for easy installation and removal
    • Includes 5 longer studs designed for mounting accessory brackets (oil dipstick tube, wiring harness brackets, etc.)
    • Improves alignment and reduces the risk of crushed or misaligned gaskets

    Fitment: 1994-2003 Ford 7.3L Powerstroke

A simple, effective upgrade that saves time and helps prevent future oil leaks.

I tried these out on my recent build. One stud snapped during Install (torque wrench set at 96 in-lbs) I didn't think too much about it figured maybe 1 bad one out of the bunch. About a month after putting the motor in I had a oil leak from the valve cover, turns out 2 more had broken after Install. Put the 23 year old factory hardware back on and no problems since.
