IDM testing consists of verifying that the IDM fires all 8 injectors, runs an Injector Buzz Test to see if it is throwing false codes, and checking the output voltage and waveforms to the injectors with an oscilloscope.
As the IDM ages, the current output drops due drift in the tolerances of various components. The oscilloscope checks show the degree to which the IDM has lost performance.
Note: Once your IDM is tested and we find no issues, you will receive an email with test results and all parts that were sent in will be shipped back out to you, same day or on the next business day. If any parts test bad, you will receive a phone call from us.

Say my eprom is bad. Are you still gonna charge me +100 plus a new PCM 600+ or will the testing service be refunded if I get a PCM from you guys

You still get charged the testing fee if you need a pcm or not.

I have a 1999 Ford F350 Superduty 7.3 Powerstroke & It cut off while driving and was not able to restart. Engine Code PO603 IDM Modlue Error. What is the timeframe frame for testing if I ship to you to determine its condition? Thanks, Daniel

Not counting the time in transit, we can test the IDM in 3-5 business days.

Cyl #8 misfire Perdel for 1-7 is perfect but #8 is at 4% Would you guys be able to fix this if it is the IDM ?

The IDM will work properly. IF the IDM is the issue then one could assume it would be fixed. IF the IDM is not the issue then the problem would persist. Testing would reveal if the IDM is faulty or good.
