The Alliant Power AP63455 is a heavy-duty, OEM-grade long turbocharger discharge outlet coupler hose engineered specifically for late 2004–2007 Ford F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 Super Duty trucks, 2004–2005 Ford Excursions, and 2004–2010 Ford E-Series vans equipped with the 6.0L Powerstroke diesel engine. Connecting the turbocharger compressor outlet directly to the hot-side charge air cooler (CAC) intercooler pipe, this long-style reinforced silicone boot is built to withstand extreme thermal loads, continuous crankcase oil mist carryover, and high boost pressure spikes. Constructed with multi-ply aramid reinforcement and an oil-resistant fluorocarbon (FKM) inner liner, it resists the softening, ballooning, and oil degradation common to inferior factory rubber hoses.
Sudden loud "pop" sounds under acceleration followed by immediate boost loss, sluggish throttle response, high exhaust gas temperatures (EGTs), heavy black exhaust smoke, and oil mist spraying across the passenger-side engine bay and firewall are what this coupler hose eliminates. On late 6.0L Powerstroke engines, the hot-side turbo discharge boot endures the hottest air charge temperatures (often exceeding 350°F before the intercooler) along with constant engine torque twist. Over time, crankcase ventilation (CCV) oil vapor eats through the original elastomer material, turning the boot spongy and slick until it tears along the clamp bead or blows completely off the metal pipes under heavy load. The Alliant Power AP63455 restores a solid, leak-free connection capable of sustaining full factory or tuned boost levels. It is a direct-fit long silicone turbo outlet hose; heavy-duty stainless steel spring-loaded T-bolt clamps (Alliant AP0044 / AP0045) and the metal hot-side CAC tube are sold separately.
It fits late 2004.5–2007 Ford Super Duty F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 trucks, 2004.5–2005 Ford Excursions (built on or after 01/15/2004), and 2004–2010 Ford E-250, E-350, and E-450 Econoline vans equipped with the 6.0L Powerstroke turbo diesel engine requiring the late-style long boot (for early 2003–early 2004 engines with the short hose, see AP63454).

Park the truck on a level surface, engage the parking brake, and disconnect both negative battery cables. Allow the engine to cool completely before servicing hot charge air components. Loosen the spring-loaded constant-tension T-bolt clamps on both ends of the existing hot-side turbo discharge boot using an 11mm (or 7/16-inch) deep socket. Work the old coupler hose off the turbocharger compressor discharge outlet and the metal hot-side intercooler pipe, then remove the boot and clamps from the engine bay. Thoroughly clean the aluminum turbo compressor outlet neck and the end of the steel intercooler pipe using brake cleaner and a clean rag to remove all traces of oil slick, soot, and road grime (any residual oil film on the metal pipe beads will cause the new boot to slide off under boost pressure). Slide the T-bolt clamps loosely onto the new Alliant Power AP63455 boot. Lightly spray the inner lip of the boot with a fast-evaporating solvent or isopropyl alcohol (or hairspray for added grip) to allow it to slip smoothly over the metal retaining beads without tearing. Slide the boot fully over the turbo outlet snout until firmly seated, then align and slide the hot-side metal pipe into the opposite end, ensuring the hose bridges the pipe gap evenly. Position each T-bolt clamp directly behind the raised retention bead of each metal pipe (never clamp directly on top of the bead, which cuts the silicone). Tighten both T-bolt clamps until the tension springs are compressed to factory spec (typically 9 to 12 ft-lbs / 106 to 142 in-lbs). Reconnect both negative battery cables, start the engine, and perform a test drive under full boost to verify a secure, leak-free seal.
