The Alliant Power AP65124 is a remanufactured 48-volt Fuel Injection Control Module (FICM) engineered specifically for 2005–2007 Ford F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 Super Duty trucks, 2005 Ford Excursions (built on or after 02/01/2005), and 2004–2010 Ford E-Series vans equipped with the 6.0L Powerstroke diesel engine. Mounted above the driver-side valve cover, the FICM converts 12V vehicle charging voltage into high-amperage 48V direct-current pulses required to energize the open and close coils on HEUI diesel fuel injectors. Remanufactured to strict OE standards, the AP65124 features upgraded electrical solder joints, heavy-duty internal capacitors, and heat-stabilized internal power circuitry designed to handle extreme engine bay heat and vibration.
Extended cranking during cold starts, rough idle until the engine reaches operating temperature, severe injector misfires (DTCs P0261 through P0284), sudden stalls, and FICM main power circuit voltage dropping below 45 volts (DTC P0611) are what this module cures. The factory 6.0L FICM is prone to power board failure caused by continuous underhood thermal cycling, engine vibration, and weak vehicle batteries. When internal capacitors and solder points degrade, the voltage delivered to the injector solenoids drops significantly, damaging expensive injector coils and leaving the truck difficult or impossible to start. The Alliant Power AP65124 comes pre-programmed with latest factory Ford calibration software, making it a true plug-and-play replacement without requiring dealership re-flashing. It is a complete remanufactured 48V FICM assembly (4-pin power board style); replacement FICM mounting isolator bushings and engine wiring harnesses are sold separately.
It fits 2005–2007 Ford Super Duty F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 trucks, 2005 Ford Excursions built on or after February 1, 2005, and 2004–2010 Ford E-250, E-350, and E-450 Econoline vans equipped with the 6.0L Powerstroke turbo diesel engine.

Park the truck on a level surface, engage the parking brake, and disconnect both negative battery cables (always test both truck batteries and charging system before installing a new FICM, as low input voltage below 12V will rapidly damage the new power board). Remove the driver-side air intake ducting and coolant degas bottle mounting hardware, setting the degas bottle aside without disconnecting the lower hoses to gain clear access to the driver-side valve cover. Using a 10mm socket, remove the two front mounting nuts and the rear mounting bolts securing the FICM mounting bracket to the engine. Lift the module and bracket upward slightly to access the three wiring harness connectors on the underside of the housing. Depress the locking squeeze tabs on each harness plug firmly and pull straight down to disconnect them (take care not to pry on the brittle plastic locking tabs). Move the old FICM to a workbench, remove the four rubber isolator through-bolts holding the module to the bracket, and swap the bracket onto the new Alliant Power AP65124 (inspect the rubber vibration isolators and replace if torn). Reconnect the three harness connectors to the bottom of the new FICM, pushing upward firmly until each connector audibly clicks into its fully locked position. Position the bracket onto the engine mounting studs, install the fasteners, and torque to 11 ft-lbs (15 Nm). Reinstall the coolant degas bottle, reattach intake piping, and reconnect both negative battery cables. Turn the ignition key to the "RUN" position for 30 seconds to allow the fuel pump to prime, verify via an OBD-II monitor that FICM Main Power reads a steady 47.5 to 48.5 volts, and start the engine to confirm smooth idle and proper injector operation.
