7.3 Powerstroke EBPV Delete Kit – Atlas 216-7826

Eliminate a common failure point on your 1999.5–2003 7.3L Powerstroke with this complete Atlas EBPV delete kit. The factory Exhaust Back Pressure Valve (also called the warm-up valve) is designed to close in cold weather to help the engine reach operating temperature faster. Over time it frequently sticks or develops oil leaks that run down the back of the engine onto the valley and driveway.

This kit completely removes the EBPV system for a permanent fix. It includes everything needed for a clean DIY installation:

• Atlas non-EBPV delete pedestal with bolt & seal kit
• Atlas high-flow exhaust outlet

Note: A soft code may set in the ECM after deletion. This does not affect performance and will not illuminate the SES or CES light. Excursion models will illuminate the check engine light. We suggest installing our pedestal actuator isolator pigtail to keep any check engine lights off.
