A 7.3 Powerstroke boost fooler is an aftermarket device that tricks the engine into producing higher boost pressure. It intercepts the signal from the boost sensor and modifies it to show lower boost pressure than actual. This fools the engine into increasing boost to reach the target pressure, resulting in increased power and performance.

Looking to avoid the service engine soon or check engine light on your 7.3|6.0 Powerstroke 1999-2010? Look no further than the Atlas 228-4056 Electronic Boost Fooler. This easy-to-install plug and play device takes just minutes to set up, and prevents over boost codes that can cause defueling. Say goodbye to the anxiety of seeing that engine light come on, and rest assured knowing your Atlas 228-4056 has you covered.

Installation: Un-plug pigtail from MAP sensor, plug one end of electronic boost fooler into MAP sensor and plug other end into MAP sensor pigtail.

Note: Will not work on the 1994-1997 Ford 7.3

I ordered this due to someone telling me my turbo would hold boost longer. I noticed a difference when getting into it, feels more torquey.

(7.3 )Seems to be doing its job. No more CEL or defuel. I have a KC state 1 turbo easily hitting 30 psi and i needed this. I have blown boots off a few times now so now i add that to the list lol. My only complaint is- the connectors are NOT weathertight. The wires do not have boots on them. I injected a bit of rtv in to each hole before install to seal it up.

Ive installed boost foolers on every 7.3 Ive owned. The electronic one is the best on of them all. No more overboost codes. Thank you!
