The Banks AutoMind 2 66410 is a handheld flash programmer for 1999–2016 Ford Powerstroke trucks. It plugs into the OBD-II port, loads a Banks calibration, and backs up the stock file so you can return the PCM to factory.

Preloaded files cover economy, tow, and performance. On a 1999–2007 7.3 or 6.0 the steps are about 50 hp tow, 100 hp street, and 120 hp performance. A 2008–2010 6.4 is about 65 hp tow and 95 hp performance. A 2011–2016 6.7 is about 145 hp economy and 157 hp performance, with a work/tow file that is transmission tuning only. The 2.8-inch color screen reads and clears codes, shows live data, and can correct the speedometer for tire size or gear ratio. Shift points, shift firmness, and fan activation are adjustable where the PCM allows it. Updates are over the internet.

It is a programmer, not a Derringer. It writes a tune and then unplugs. These files do not delete emissions equipment, and they will not run a 6.7 with the DPF removed. Motorhome and cab-and-chassis trucks are excluded. It is not for sale in California.
