Once a P7100 is turned up, the factory AFC spring either holds fuel back at low boost or lets it smoke. Correct it with the BD 1040181 AFC spring kit so full AFC travel comes in at reasonable boost. It fits 1994-1998 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 with the 5.9L 12 valve Cummins and Bosch P7100 pump.

Springs: Light and medium tension AFC springs. The springs run slightly longer for preload without cranking the star wheel so far that link travel is limited. No core charge applies to this part.
