For the Ford 4R100 transmission, the Bypass Eliminator kit allows for the removal of the cooler bypass tube assembly which has a history of failing and bypassing the transmission cooler when you need it the most. I have not installed the item yet, but I am thinking when I'm down under the truck and check out the fittings that it might just be self-explanatory, I hope.
