The BD 1600149 is a billet input shaft for a 4R100 and a 5R110W. It is the shaft the converter drives. The transmission has to come apart to install it.
BD machines it from 300 maraging steel so it takes the shock of a tuned truck or a heavy load. A stock input shaft is a common break on a 7.3, 6.0, or 6.4. The output shaft and the pump are not included. The warranty is 12 months or 12,000 miles, and it does not cover race abuse.
It fits 1999–2010 F-250 through F-550 trucks with a 4R100 or 5R110W.

A ZF5 or ZF6 does not use this shaft. The DieselSite ISRK is the manual sleeve. Do this while the unit is already out for a rebuild.
