For 2014–2025 Ram 2500 4WD with 2–2.5" front lift
Upgrade the front suspension on your lifted Ram 2500 with a shock built for extra ride height, larger tires, and mixed on-road / off-road use. The Bilstein B8 5100 (part 24-268639) is a vehicle-tuned monotube shock that replaces the factory front damper on 4WD trucks already lifted 2–2.5". It does not add lift on its own — it is sized and valved for that lift range.
Why it works on a lifted 2500
Stock shocks fade and feel loose once you add a leveling kit, coil spacers, or a small lift. The 5100 uses a nitrogen-charged monotube body and a 46 mm velocity-sensitive digressive piston so damping stays consistent instead of going soft after heat or repeated hits. That means better control over washboard, potholes, and highway expansion joints, plus more confidence with heavier tires.
