The Bilstein 24-218030 B8 5100 is a direct-fit monotube shock engineered for 2011–2025 Silverado and Sierra 2500HD/3500HD models with 3–4 inches of rear lift. It delivers fade-free control on the highway, under a load, and off-road—without the harshness common on many lifted HD trucks.

Stock-length shocks can’t keep up once you add lift, larger tires, and extra weight. This 5100 is valved and sized specifically for that geometry. The 46mm monotube, high-pressure gas design dissipates heat better than twin-tube shocks, so damping stays consistent on long hauls or washboard roads. Bilstein’s velocity-sensitive digressive piston reacts instantly to small bumps and bigger hits, giving you more control when towing and a more planted feel day to day.
