The LBZ and LMM intercooler tanks crack and the truck falls flat when the boot loses seal. Replace the core with the CSF 6002 tube-and-fin unit. Read the 3500 years carefully, because a 2006 3500 is not the same as a 2006 2500HD.
- Build: Tube-and-fin aluminum core, 36 inches by 20-1/2 inches and 1-5/8 inches thick. Inlet is 3-1/8 inches and the outlet is 3-1/4 inches.
- Part number: CSF 6002 crosses OEM 15293729 and 19370174.
- Fitment: 2006-2010 Silverado and Sierra 2500HD, the 2007 2500HD Classic and 3500 Classic, and 2007-2010 Silverado and Sierra 3500, all with the 6.6L LBZ or LMM.
- Does not fit: A 2006 Silverado or Sierra 3500 that is not a Classic, and any 2011-up LML. The bar-and-plate core for these trucks is CSF 6023. The heavy-duty cast-tank cooler is CSF 7102.
- Not in the box: Boots, hoses, and clamps are not included. This is the intercooler core only.
