The DieselSite ISRK is an input shaft repair kit for a 1994–2003 7.3 with a ZF5 or ZF6. It is a sleeve and a pilot bearing. It is not a billet shaft, and the transmission does not have to come apart.
A worn pilot and a grooved input shaft are the grind and the leak on these manuals. The sleeve is hardened and adds about 0.215 inch of wear surface. The pilot bearing has a lip seal. A driver and a bushing for the clutch alignment tool are in the box. Pull the old pilot, drive the new one in, and the sleeve goes on the shaft.
It fits 1994–2003 7.3 trucks with a ZF5 or ZF6. The same kit is used on the 6.9 IDI manuals.
Fitment
- 1994–2003 Ford 7.3L Powerstroke
- ZF5 and ZF6
- Repair sleeve and pilot bearing
- Driver and alignment bushing included
- Transmission stays in the truck
An automatic does not use this kit. A 4R100 input shaft is a different part. Do this when the clutch is already out.
