Due to current core shortages, we are requiring cores for ALL PCMs to be sent in first for rebuild.

    7.3 Powerstroke PCM Rebuild

The PCM is the brain of the 7.3 Powerstroke. It commands fuel delivery, injection timing, idle control, glow-plug strategy, and (on automatics) transmission shift logic. After 20–30 years of heat, vibration, moisture, and performance chips, these modules fail—often after someone pulls a chip with the key on or the engine running.

This 7.3 Powerstroke PCM Rebuild DTC is a rebuilt unit from Diesel Technology of Chattanooga, ready to install. Known failure points are addressed during rebuild, chip terminals are cleaned and re-soldered, and the module is programmed before it ships. It is intended as a stock replacement for 1994–2003 7.3L Power Stroke applications in F-Series Super Duty, Excursion, and related Ford/Navistar diesel platforms.

Unlike later Ford diesels, the 7.3 PCM does not store the VIN from the factory, and odometer mileage lives in the instrument cluster—not the PCM. That means a correctly matched replacement can go in and run without dealer programming. There is also no PCM relearn period on these trucks.

FFD parts have saved my truck more times than I can count

After my third APPS, I realized something was frying them. After replacing the MAP, the wiring harness, and the IPR, my fourth APPS got fried. PCM was all that was left to replace. I was so discouraged after chasing this issue, but from the first start, it's like a new truck. I'm guessing I have been band-aiding some PCM point failures for years. I got the "P1111 - All Systems Pass" code. I thought my truck didn't even have that installed! This part was super easy to install and my truck runs like it's 1997.

It was plug and play and seemed to fix all of my issues with the truck.I was very pleased with the time it took and the results and have another pcm that I’m going to send in so I have a backup in case I run into this problem again

I had a failed PCM and did not want to buy one from EBay, not knowing what I was getting. I chose your PCM instead. It was clean, clearly marked and arrived a week after I shipped my old PCM back. I added a Hydra chip to this PCM before installing. The truck stalled several times until the PCM and chip communicated with each other, but now the 1999 Ford F450 7.3 runs better than ever. Thank you for a great service to get my old iron running and working again.
