Q John y • 02/18/2025, 0:05:09 AM When I order a IDM do you guys program it so it is just plug and play for me?
A 02/24/2025, 4:09:21 PM It's ready to install and run.
Q Tanner • 03/04/2025, 11:32:18 PM Does this one come at 120 volts?
A 03/05/2025, 3:32:28 PM The voltage on all models of 7.3 IDM is the same. EDU-100A (1994.5-1996) , IDM-100 (1997), IDM-110(E-99) and IDM-120 (L-99 to 2003) are all the same voltage. Depending on where you measure it (different places in the IDM give slightly different results, or youcan measure it at the injectors), when you measure it (IDM just on, or firing the injectors, and thenwhen in the injector firing you measure it, and how you measure it (voltmeter or oscilloscope) you canget anywhere from 92 to 114 volts. We measure the voltage going to the injector, and the start of the injector firing, with an oscilloscope, and any good IDM will be between 111 and 113 volts there. I round down in my conversations, so Ialways refer to a stock IDM as being 110 volts. A modded IDM will be between 138 and 141 volts, sowe call that 140 volts. I think some Ford literature may refer to 115 volts, which could be a source of confusion, but the only way to "get" 115 volts is to round up.
Q Hunter • 03/05/2025, 0:18:21 AM How do you know what the voltage is.

The item shipped quickly, was well packaged. Good product, works as expected. It's one of those things that 20 years from now, you'd just be happy that it is even available for purchase. Thanks for being in the business of keeping these old rigs running. Core charge was refunded promptly.
