The AutoMeter 8496 is a Factory Match high-pressure oil gauge for a 1994–2003 7.3 and a 2003–2007 6.0 Powerstroke. It reads ICP from the factory sensor. A new sensor is not included.

It is a 2-1/16 inch full-sweep gauge, 0 to 4000 psi, driven by a stepper motor. The lighting is green LED through the dial, matched to the factory cluster. An 8-foot harness taps the factory ICP wiring, so you do not add a sender. Mounting hardware is in the box. It runs on 12 or 16 volts.

On a 7.3, cranking ICP should climb past about 500 psi or the truck will not start. This gauge is how you see that, and how you see a pump or an IPR fall off under load. It fits F-Series and Excursion trucks in those years. It will not read a 6.4 or a 6.7.

A gauge does not fix a low reading. If it will not build pressure, the IPR, the lines, and the pump are the next parts.
