The Auto Meter 7077 is a complete pre-packaged triple gauge A-pillar kit engineered for 1999–2003 7.3L and early 2003 6.0L Ford Super Duty trucks and Excursions. Designed to replicate the look of original factory instrumentation, this turnkey monitoring setup features Auto Meter Factory Match series analog gauges with OEM-matching black dial faces, OEM-style typography, chrome bezels, white incandescent backlighting, and factory-matched glowing green-illuminated pointers. The package includes an electric pyrometer exhaust gas temperature (EGT) gauge (0–1600°F) with a Type-K thermocouple probe, a mechanical boost pressure gauge (0–35 PSI) with nylon tubing and brass compression fittings, a short-sweep electric transmission temperature gauge (100–250°F) with a 1/8-inch NPT sender, and a full-length molded ABS A-pillar pod textured to complement factory cab trim.
Unmonitored exhaust gas temperatures melting piston crowns under heavy hauling, creeping transmission fluid temperatures roasting clutch packs, undetected boost leaks robbing low-end torque, and aftermarket gauge pods that clash with factory interior styling are what this triple gauge kit eliminates. Factory Ford instrument clusters provide no feedback on manifold boost pressure or pre-turbo exhaust thermal loads, while the factory transmission temperature indicator operates on a broad buffer that only warns of extreme overheating after damage occurs. Auto Meter’s Factory Match series provides accurate, high-response analog monitoring mounted cleanly in the driver's forward sightline without breaking up the OEM aesthetic of the cab. It is a complete three-gauge analog monitoring system with A-pillar pod mount, sensors, and installation hardware only; it does not plug into the OBD-II port, flash calibrations, or alter ECM programming.
It fits 1999–2003 Ford F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 Super Duty trucks as well as 2000–2003 Ford Excursions equipped with the 7.3L Powerstroke or early 2003 6.0L Powerstroke diesel engine.

Disconnect both negative battery cables before beginning installation to prevent accidental electrical shorts while routing wiring through the firewall. For the fastest and most accurate exhaust temperature readings, drill and tap the driver-side exhaust manifold 1/8-inch NPT upstream of the turbo up-pipe collector, running the engine at idle or packing heavy grease into the tap flutes to trap loose metal shavings. Thread the electric transmission temperature sender directly into the factory 1/8-inch NPT test port on the driver side of the 4R100 or 5R110 transmission case—never use Teflon tape on the sender threads, as it prevents proper electrical grounding. Route the mechanical boost line into the intake manifold or compressor intake spider using the included compression fitting, passing the nylon line through a firewall rubber grommet clear of sharp sheet metal edges and hot exhaust downpipes. Secure the full-length A-pillar pod cleanly over the factory pillar trim using the included mounting hardware, and tie the gauge lighting circuit into the factory dash dimmer switch for seamless nighttime viewing.
