The FASS FC1000R is a 2-1/16-inch standalone digital fuel pressure gauge designed to monitor low-pressure fuel delivery on diesel lift pump systems. Built with an ultra-bright digital OLED display, this gauge provides instantaneous, high-precision numeric fuel pressure readouts alongside a dynamic peripheral bar graph for rapid at-a-glance monitoring. FASS packages the gauge with a premium 0–100 PSI electronic pressure transducer, weather-pack wiring harness, and a 1/8-inch NPT threaded sending unit engineered for harsh automotive fluid environments.

Starved injection pumps, cavitating HEUI or common rail fuel systems, sudden pressure drops under wide-open-throttle load, and clogged diesel fuel filters are what this digital monitor prevents. High-performance diesel injection pumps—including Bosch CP3, CP4, VP44, and Powerstroke HEUI systems—rely heavily on continuous positive fuel pressure from aftermarket lift pumps for internal cooling and lubrication. A subtle drop in lift pump pressure can instantly cause injector failure, aeration, or catastrophic injection pump lockup without triggering an OEM check engine light. The FASS FC1000R monitors lift pump supply pressure in real time, alerting the driver to pressure drops before expensive fuel system components suffer permanent damage. It is a standalone digital gauge, sensor, and wiring harness kit only; gauge mounting pods, fuel tee blocks, and fuel lines are sold separately.

It fits standard 2-1/16-inch (52mm) gauge pods, pillar mounts, and dash cups across universal diesel applications equipped with a FASS Titanium, Titanium Signature Series, or any aftermarket or OEM electric lift pump system.

Disconnect both vehicle batteries before beginning electrical wiring or sensor installation. Thread the 1/8-inch NPT pressure transducer directly into the dedicated fuel pressure test port on your FASS fuel filter base, post-pump manifold, or fuel bowl test adapter—use a thread sealant rated specifically for diesel fuel (such as Loctite 567) on NPT threads, avoiding Teflon tape which can shred and clog fuel injector nozzles. When installing on VP44 or CP3 Dodge Cummins applications, always mount the transducer remotely via a short grease gun hose or snubber valve to isolate the sensor from damaging injection pump pressure pulses. Route the wiring harness through a sealed firewall grommet away from hot exhaust manifolds, and connect the gauge power leads to a fused 12-volt key-on switched ignition source and a solid chassis ground.
