The Motorcraft 2C3Z-9J338-BA is a genuine OEM hard metal fuel feed line assembly for the fuel filter bowl on 1999–2003 7.3 Powerstroke engines. It feeds filtered fuel directly from the central filter bowl assembly to the passenger side cylinder head fuel rail port. Motorcraft constructs the line from corrosion-resistant steel with precision-bent factory contours, equipped with pre-installed threaded compression nuts and sealing sleeve sleeves.
Pinhole leaks from road vibration, flattened or cracked flares, and weeping fuel connections at the cylinder head or bowl ports are what this line fixes. After decades of heat cycling and injector or turbo removals, the factory rigid fuel lines fatigue and work-harden, making them impossible to reseal without leaking raw diesel fuel into the engine valley. It is the metal fuel feed line assembly only.
It fits 1999–2003 7.3 Powerstroke trucks, Excursions, and E-Series vans.
Fitment
- 1999–2003 Ford F-250 Super Duty 7.3L Powerstroke
- 1999–2003 Ford F-350 Super Duty 7.3L Powerstroke
- 1999–2003 Ford F-450 Super Duty 7.3L Powerstroke
- 1999–2003 Ford F-550 Super Duty 7.3L Powerstroke
- 2000–2003 Ford Excursion 7.3L Powerstroke
- 1999–2003 Ford E-Series Vans 7.3L Powerstroke
- Passenger side cylinder head fuel feed line
- Factory rigid steel construction
- Pre-formed line assembly only
Depressurize and drain the fuel filter bowl completely prior to loosening the line nuts. Hand-thread both fittings into the filter bowl port and the cylinder head port several turns before tightening either end to avoid cross-threading the soft brass ports. Snug both compression fittings evenly to factory torque specs to ensure a leak-free seal without crushing the internal sleeve.
