The Ford F81Z-9B273-BN is a genuine OEM rigid steel fuel line assembly for the fuel filter bowl on 1999–2003 7.3 Powerstroke engines. It feeds pressurized fuel from the fuel bowl assembly across the valley to the front of the passenger side (right bank) cylinder head fuel rail port. Ford manufactures this line from heavy-wall coated steel tubing bent to exact factory contours, complete with pre-installed tube nuts and compression sealing sleeves.
Raw fuel leaks puddling in the passenger-side engine valley, flattened sealing olives that refuse to reseat, or hairline cracks from engine vibration and turbo servicing are what this line fixes. Once loosened after years of extreme heat cycles, the factory metal tubing work-hardens and commonly weeps around the compression nut, risking air intrusion and fuel pressure drop. It is the passenger side metal fuel feed line assembly only.
It fits 1999–2003 7.3 Powerstroke trucks, Excursions, and E-Series vans.

- Pre-formed hard line only
Relieve fuel system pressure and drain the fuel filter bowl before loosening line nuts. Always thread both ends into their respective ports by hand several turns before tightening with a wrench to prevent cross-threading the brass ports. Tighten evenly to avoid overtightening, which can distort the internal sealing sleeve and restrict fuel flow into the passenger cylinder head.
