The Ford 5C3Z-9G805-C High Pressure Oil Pump Cover is a genuine Ford OE replacement part for the high-pressure oil pump (HPOP) on the 6.0L Powerstroke. The 6.0L uses high-pressure engine oil to fire its injectors, so the HPOP and its sealing surfaces must hold extreme pressure without leaking. A genuine Ford cover ensures factory fit for a reliable seal.

What Problem Does This Solve?

• High-pressure oil leaks. A damaged or worn HPOP cover or sealing surface can leak high-pressure oil, reducing the pressure available to fire the injectors.
• Hard starts and no-starts. Leaks in the high-pressure oil system are a common cause of 6.0L hard starts, often worse when the engine is hot.

Installation Tip

This cover fits 2004.5–2007 Ford 6.0L Powerstroke Super Duty and 2005–2010 E-Series vans. Early 2003–early 2004 engines use different HPOP cover parts. When resealing the cover, use the late HPOP O-ring kit, Ford 5C3Z-9G804-C. Not for the 6.4L.
