The Alliant AP63425 is a complete OEM-replacement fuel filter bowl assembly for 1999–2003 7.3 Powerstroke engines. It replaces the entire factory fuel filter housing mounted in the engine valley, matching Ford OEM part number F81Z-9155-AC. Alliant Power builds this assembly complete with a new fuel filter element, filter cap, fuel heater element, water-in-fuel (WIF) sensor, fuel drain valve, and fuel pressure regulator.
Persistent fuel leaks pooling in the engine valley, warped filter bowl housings that refuse to seal, stripped port threads, or shorted fuel heater elements that repeatedly blow the PCM fuse (Fuse 30) are what this complete assembly cures. Instead of piecing together individual seals, sensors, and valves on a pitted 20-plus-year-old aluminum casting, this unit drops directly into the valley to restore factory fuel filtration, water separation, and pressure regulation in one step. It is the complete assembled fuel filter bowl only; hard metal fuel lines and mounting bracket hardware are not included.
It fits late 1999–2003 7.3 Powerstroke trucks, Excursions, and E-Series vans.
Fitment
- 1999.5–2003 Ford F-250 Super Duty 7.3L Powerstroke
- 1999.5–2003 Ford F-350 Super Duty 7.3L Powerstroke
- 1999.5–2003 Ford F-450 Super Duty 7.3L Powerstroke
- 1999.5–2003 Ford F-550 Super Duty 7.3L Powerstroke
- 2000–2003 Ford Excursion 7.3L Powerstroke
- 1999.5–2003 Ford E-Series Vans 7.3L Powerstroke
- Replaces Ford OEM part number F81Z-9155-AC
- Complete drop-in housing assembly with sensors, heater, and drain valve
- Assembled fuel filter bowl unit only
Disconnect both vehicle batteries and relieve fuel pressure before beginning removal to prevent electrical shorts at the fuel heater harness. Disconnect the electrical connectors, drain tube, and rigid fuel lines carefully to prevent cross-threading the ports on the new housing. Prime the fuel system by cycling the ignition key to the run position several times for 20 seconds each to fill the bowl and purge air before cranking the engine.
