The Alliant AP0007 is an OEM-grade fuel filter bowl reseal O-ring kit for 1999–2003 7.3 Powerstroke engines. It provides the essential diesel-rated Viton seals required to rebuild and service the factory fuel filter housing mounted in the engine valley. Alliant Power includes the fuel drain valve stem O-rings, fuel heater element O-ring, fuel pressure relief valve seals, and fuel bowl water-in-fuel sensor O-rings.

Fuel pooling in the engine valley, raw diesel smells under the hood, and weeping drain valves that pull air into the fuel system are what this kit fixes. Over decades of severe heat cycling and modern ultra-low sulfur diesel exposure, the factory rubber seals dry out, shrink, and harden, leading to persistent leaks and loss of fuel prime. It is the fuel bowl O-ring seal kit only; the fuel filter bowl housing, drain valve, and sensors are not included.

It fits 1999–2003 7.3 Powerstroke trucks, Excursions, and E-Series vans equipped with the factory fuel filter bowl.

Relieve fuel pressure and completely drain the fuel bowl before disassembling any sensors or the drain valve. Thoroughly clean all O-ring grooves and mating surfaces of dirt, varnish, and old seal residue using a lint-free rag. Lightly lubricate every new O-ring with clean diesel fuel or clean engine oil prior to assembly to prevent pinching or tearing the seals during reinstallation.
