L5P|L5D Duramax Driver Side Fuel Rail — GM 12731370

Genuine GM OEM high-pressure diesel fuel rail assembly for the driver (left) bank on 2024–2026 6.6L L5P and L5D Duramax engines. This is the factory RAIL ASM-HIGH PRESS DSL F/INJN used on late-model Silverado and Sierra HD trucks. Fitment

    • Does not fit 2017–2023 L5P (those trucks use driver-side rail 12686810)
    • Replaces: 12725117

    What’s included

    • Genuine GM driver-side (LH) high-pressure fuel rail
    • Fuel pressure relief valve (installed on the rear of the rail)

Why this rail The L5P/L5D common-rail system depends on a sealed, factory-spec rail to hold injector pressure and feed the left bank evenly. A cracked, leaking, or contaminated rail can cause hard starts, rough idle, rail-pressure codes, and injector damage. This OEM assembly restores factory fit, line routing, and relief-valve function without aftermarket geometry changes. It is the correct service part for rail replacement, fuel-system contamination repairs, and injector work on 2024-2026 trucks.

    Product details

    • Part number: GM 12731370
    • Position: Driver side / Left (LH)
    • Type: High-pressure diesel common-rail assembly
    • Condition: Brand new OEM
    • Brand: Genuine GM

Notes: High-pressure diesel lines and rails should be installed with clean fuel-system practices. Replace damaged injector lines, seals, and return components at the same time if contamination or a leak is present. Confirm year and engine before ordering—2024+ rails are not interchangeable with 2017–2023 L5P rails.
