The Driven Diesel HPOP gear cover kit is the access cover for a 1999–2003 7.3 Powerstroke, with a tube that moves the exhaust backpressure sensor off the cover. It is the cover that comes off to reach the HPOP gear bolt.
The factory cover seals with RTV, and the sensor bracket sits in the way of the gear. This cover uses a captured O-ring, so no sealant is required, and the tube relocates the EBP sensor so it does not have to come off for a pump job. A number 6 O-ring boss port is in the cover for an oil return from a second HPOP or a bypass filter. Stainless hardware is included. The cover without the tube is DD-73L-HPOPGearCover.
It fits 1999–2003 Super Duty and Excursion trucks where the sensor sits in front of the reservoir. A 1994–1997 with the sensor behind the reservoir does not need the tube.

It comes as you see in the picture. You reuse the factory hardware.

Been on my 02 7.3 for about a week now. Super simple install, no leaks so far , glad it has an oring to get rid of sealant that could squeeze and break off into the HPOP, would definitely recommend. Sensor relocation is perfect as well. About twice to three times thicker than OEM which is great. Would recommend.

Very good fitment and I think better design over factory will be using again on builds in the future. If your tube is clogged I wouldn�t go back to factory setup go this route
