Protect your 5.9 Cummins from one of the most well-known catastrophic failures on 2nd-gen trucks. The factory alignment dowel pin behind the timing cover can vibrate loose over time. When it drops into the timing gears, it can crack the gear housing, jump timing, or destroy the engine.

The Industrial Injection 242B01 premium kit permanently retains the pin so it cannot walk out. This is the complete version of the repair: it includes the new dowel pin and retainer tab plus a new front crankshaft seal and front cover gasket.
