The Alliant Power AP63458 is a new accelerator pedal position sensor for 1998.5-2002 Dodge Ram 5.9L VP44 trucks and 2003-2004 5.9L common rail trucks with the APPS under the driver side intake horn.

A failing APPS causes dead pedal, surging and trouble codes. This sensor is tested by Alliant to meet or exceed OE standards and fits automatic and manual trucks.

• Fitment: 1998.5-2002 Dodge Ram 2500 and 3500 5.9L 24V VP44 and 2003-2004 5.9L common rail with the APPS under the intake horn. Not for 2004 trucks with the APPS under the battery.
• Installation Tip: The sensor must be set to its specified voltage with a DVOM or scan tool during install; it is not plug and play.
