Banks CoolRunner Engine Oil Pan (35137-B) – 2020-2026 L5P Duramax
Heat kills motor oil. That’s why Banks engineered the CoolRunner™ Oil Pan using technology from its military engine program.
The Banks 35137-B CoolRunner Oil Pan is the ultimate upgrade for 2020-2026 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500/3500 HD trucks with the 6.6L L5P Duramax. It rejects more heat, reduces aeration, and maintains proper oil viscosity far better than the stock pan or any aftermarket competitor.
With 19 deep external radiator fins and 15 internal heat-absorption fins (FlowThru Fins™ design), the CoolRunner provides 86.1% more cooling surface area than stock. The die-cast A380 aluminum construction with CNC-machined surfaces creates a smoother interior for better oil flow, while the precision full-length squeeze gap sealing surface prevents RTV strands from breaking off and contaminating your engine.
Key Benefits:
- Extends oil life by keeping oil cooler and reducing aeration
- Adds 2 extra quarts of oil capacity
- Allows complete oil drainage during changes (stock pans leave behind nearly ½ quart of dirty oil/sludge)
- Improves oil flow to the pickup tube with an anti-cavitation dimple
- Maintains factory ground clearance — does not hang lower than the front crossmember
- Works with AEV skid plates and AT4 skid plate packages
Technical Specifications
