The MBRP S6287PLM bolts to the DPF outlet on 2011-2016 Ford F-250, F-350 and F-450 pickups with the 6.7L Power Stroke, in Crew Cab and SuperCab configurations only. It replaces the factory muffler and tailpipe behind the diesel particulate filter. The factory filter and the emissions hardware ahead of it stay in place.

In place of the factory muffler is a muffler delete pipe, running 4-inch mandrel-bent aluminized steel tubing from the filter to a single side exit. Mandrel bending keeps the full 4-inch inside diameter through every bend. The over-axle pipe comes in two pieces to make the job easier under the truck. No core required.

• Muffler Delete Design: A straight-through pipe takes the factory muffler's place, so nothing restricts flow between the DPF and the tip.
• 4-Inch Mandrel-Bent Tubing: The bends keep their full diameter with no crush or ripples to choke flow.
• Heavy-Gauge Aluminized Steel: Resists dents from road debris. Best suited to dry climates where road salt isn't a concern.
• Two-Piece Over-Axle Pipe: Routes over the rear axle in two sections for easier handling during install.
• Complete Bolt-On Kit: Includes the extension pipe, over-axle pipe, tail pipe, Hang Tight hanger, two 4-inch band clamps, a DPF flange gasket, flange bolts, nuts, washers and an M22x1.5 plug. No exhaust tip included.

Vehicle Fitment & Technical Installation Notes

Fits 2011-2016 Ford F-250, F-350 and F-450 pickups with the 6.7L Power Stroke diesel, Crew Cab and SuperCab only. It does not fit Regular Cab or Cab & Chassis trucks.

Installation Tip: Use the new DPF flange gasket supplied in the kit rather than reusing the factory one. Hang the whole system and leave the clamps just snug until the pipes are aligned and clear the axle and frame. Then tighten from the DPF flange rearward so the system doesn't sit in a bind.
