The Sinister SD-COOLFIL-7-3-W is a coolant filter kit for a 1999–2003 7.3 Powerstroke. It is a bypass filter. The DieselSite kit is CFIK.
SCA scale and casting sand eat the water pump and the radiator. This kit filters a side stream of coolant. The head, the bracket, the element, the hose, the barbs, and the clamps are in the box. Two ball valves let you shut the lines off to change the filter. It mounts on the driver-side radiator support. The heater hose gets cut. Do it cold.
It fits 1999–2003 Super Duty 7.3 trucks.

A 1994–1997 OBS uses a different kit. Flush the system if the coolant is already muddy. The filter is not a substitute for the right coolant. Change the element when flow drops.
