Installation Tip: Find the cause of the old turbo's failure before installing the new one. Change the engine oil and filter, check the oil feed and drain lines for restriction, and clean any oil out of the intercooler and boost tubes. Pre-lube the turbo through the oil feed port before the first start. A replacement oil feed line and drain tube kit are available as add-ons if the originals are worn or restricted.
