5.9 Cummins Dyna Max 12-1/4" Clutch Kit – South Bend Clutch K0090
Is your 1989–2004 Dodge Ram 5.9L Cummins slipping, chattering, or feeling vague when shifting? The South Bend Clutch K0090 Dyna Max 12-1/4" single-disc clutch kit is the premium stock-replacement upgrade designed specifically for 5.9 Cummins trucks.
This Stage 1 Dyna Max clutch features a full-face organic friction disc made from South Bend’s advanced 808 composite material. The result is exceptionally smooth engagement, significantly lower operating temperatures, reduced drivetrain shock, and longer service life than a stock clutch. The pressure plate delivers increased clamp load for better holding power while keeping pedal effort close to stock.
Rated for up to 350 horsepower and 650 ft-lbs of torque, the K0090 is an excellent choice for daily-driven trucks, light-to-medium towing, and vehicles with stock or mild performance modifications (programmer, exhaust, intake, etc.).

Important Notes:
- Flywheel is NOT included. Your existing stock 12-1/4" flywheel must be professionally resurfaced.
- This 12-1/4" clutch is ideal for light to medium towing. For heavy towing (over ~8,000 lbs combined) or higher torque levels, we strongly recommend one of South Bend’s 13" upgrade kits.
- NV5600 6-speed applications are limited to 1999–2000.5 non-HO (235 hp) models only.
