I have a 1999 F350 7.3 manual transmission with a build date of 7/99. I ordered this wiring harness knowing it would need modification, however it turned out to be much simpler than anticipated. I thought I would have to add a coolant sensor and alternator wire and pigtail to the harness and 42 pin box but all I ended up needing to do was swap out the coolant sensor plug. Took all of 5 minutes to pop out the yellow retainers, pull the pins and swap the plug onto the new harness. I did continuity test every single wire on my old harness and this new one to make sure all the wires went to the proper location on each plug and terminal on the 42 pin box, which took about two hours. Time and money well spent. Cleared my PCM codes. Harness fit exactly as it should and seems to be high quality.
