The OBS Ford 7.3 Powerstroke 1994-1997 did not come with a factory mount intercooler system. Instead Ford decided that the turbo would be sufficient with the larger 1.15 turbo turbine housing. Although it probably helped out some it did not cure EGT problems for a modified truck.
Installing the Atlas Diesel OBS Intercooler Kit will get you lower EGT's, better fuel economy and more power. Cooling the intake charge air will improve oxygen availability. So the more oxygen with the cooler air equals more burned fuel and less black smoke.
This kit is a bolt on design. Comes with brackets for the intercooler, power steering cooler and AC Condenser.

Can the original fuel bowl stay in place with this Intercooler?
Does it clamp up to a KC turbo stage 1?

What plenums would I need to get to be able to run this in my truck? Im thinking about getting the billet full force plenums but I don’t want to get wrong ones. I have a 1997 f350 7.3

Will the factor intake plenums work for this kit or will I have to replace those too ?

I am pretty sure I have the first one of these full force ever sold . I have had it for about 5 years and had no issues. It does require some modification however for what it cost it is well worth any minor fitment concerns

Kit was shipped nicely, no damage to product. Install wasn�t hard, but time consuming and found steps that could have been helpful. But self explanatory, cut out a decent amount and had to finess the cooler bracket from hitting the grill. Other than that the kits great, dropped EGTS a couple hundred degrees.

Seems to be well built. Install was somewhat time consuming but could do it a lot faster now. Definitely keeps EGTs down and cools down faster after stopping. Was hesitant on giving 5 stars as the box arrived beat up and loose bolts and nuts rolling around. Had to make my own mounts for my after market trans cooler and mount behind the bumper, but everything is working as it should. Should have done this sooner.

Overall I�m happy with the product. When you cut your radiator brackets it says �measure 2� from the top and cut across�. It doesn�t say to make them an L bracket until you see the pic on the next page on the PDF file. So I had to buy more brackets. I�m happy with the product and if instructions were better I would give 5 stars.
