The BD 1041241 is a heavy-duty flex plate for a 1994–2003 7.3 with an E4OD or a 4R100. It is the plate between the crank and the converter. A manual uses a flywheel. This is not that.
BD machines it from quench-and-tempered steel rated at 100,000 psi yield, about 1.5 times thicker than stock, with the counterweight cut into the plate. It is balanced tighter than the factory spec and finished in black oxide so it does not pick up the cracking that zinc plate can start. It bolts in and takes a stock or aftermarket converter. The converter has to come off to install it.
It fits 1994–2003 7.3 trucks with an E4OD or 4R100.
