The DieselSite FLEX73 is a billet flex plate for a 1994–2003 7.3 with an E4OD or a 4R100. It is the plate between the crank and the converter. A manual uses a flywheel. This is not that.
DieselSite machines it from high-speed alloy billet so it does not crack the way a high-mileage or tuned stock plate does. It takes a stock or aftermarket converter. Torque the bolts to 90 lb-ft. Leave the factory steel washer ring off. That ring will damage the converter. A 4-stud E4OD does not use this plate. The BD plate is 1041241.
It fits 1994–2003 7.3 trucks with a 6-stud E4OD or a 4R100.

100% worth the money. Replaced factory flex plate with the dieselsite billet flexplate after breaking the stock one. It might just be me but it seems that my truck is a lot smoother now.

Way thicker over stock great quality. Factory one was starting to crack with the ring gear going out. Installing a 6.0 starter as long as a billet triple disc converter to help with load transfer in a single cab long bed truck.

I was first skeptical about buying this, but what sold me is that it's engineered for both oem and aftermarket torque converters. When I recieved it I was very pleased wit the quality and appearance of it. My local machine shop that needed it to balance my rotating assembly said that it was the nicest flexplate they've seen for a 7.3 for the price. Overall very happy with it and install was a breeze. Time will tell to see how it holds up
