The BD 1064013 is an auxiliary transmission filter kit for a 1999–2003 7.3 with a 4R100. It is an extra filter on the cooler circuit. It does not replace the filter in the pan.
Oil leaving the converter goes through this filter before it lubes the transmission. The element is rated about 98 percent at 25 micron, and it spins off for a service. The filter head, the bracket, the hose, and the bypass-tube eliminators are in the box. A truck with dual alternators needs the filter head moved so it clears the second alternator.
It fits 1999–2003 F-250 and F-350 trucks with the 4R100.

The external transmission oil filter for the 4R100 transmission. This filter augments the internal filter and is not a replacement correct?

I am looking to completely delete the stock external toilet paper filter. Will this unit replace the stock external filter or is it in addition too the stock unit?

What year model truck to you have? That kit is for the 99-03 4R100 7.3 trucks. They did not have the toilet paper filter only the 6.0 with the 5R110
