The BD Diesel 1059700-A is a remanufactured, upgraded 58-volt Fuel Injection Control Module (FICM) power board engineered for 2003–2007 Ford F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 Super Duty trucks, 2003–2005 Ford Excursions, and 2004–2010 Ford E-Series vans equipped with the 6.0L Powerstroke diesel engine. Engineered to replace the fragile stock 48-volt power supply board, this unit steps up output to 58 volts, delivering a sharper, more energetic electrical pulse to the fuel injector spool valve solenoids. BD re-engineers the board using premium, heavy-duty electronic components, upgraded capacitors, robust power field-effect transistors (FETs), and improved thermal dissipation heat sinks to prevent heat- and vibration-induced solder degradation.
Hard starts, long cranking times in freezing ambient temperatures, rough idling on cold mornings, injector misfires, erratic throttle response, and cylinder contribution DTC codes (such as P0611, P0261–P0284) are what this upgraded power board eliminates. Factory 48-volt FICM power boards suffer from weak solder traces and undersized capacitors that deteriorate rapidly under engine heat and vibration, frequently dropping voltage below the critical 45-volt threshold and causing injector stiction. The BD 58V FICM board delivers up to 10 extra volts directly to the spool valves, cutting through cold, thick engine oil inside the injector coils, speeding up injector reaction times, improving fuel atomization, and smoothing engine idle without needing to replace the entire FICM aluminum housing or wipe custom ECU/FICM tuning. It is a 58V replacement internal power supply board assembly designed to mount into your existing OEM 4-pin FICM housing; the lower logic/CPU half of the module is retained.
It fits 2003–2007 Ford F-250, F-350, F-450, and F-550 Super Duty trucks, 2003–2005 Ford Excursions, and 2004–2010 Ford E-250/E-350 vans equipped with the 6.0L Powerstroke diesel engine utilizing a 4-pin style FICM power board (does not fit rare early 2003 7-pin style FICM units; verify screw/pin count under the inspection cover prior to ordering).

- Reduces injector stiction, cold-start miss, and long cranking times
- Provides faster injector solenoid response for improved throttle response and idle quality
- Heavy-duty circuit board construction with upgraded capacitors, FETs, and vibration-resistant soldering
- Retains existing factory FICM logic board, vehicle calibration, and custom tunes
- Requires no dealer reflashing or PCM reprogramming
- Upgraded internal FICM power board only (retains factory aluminum casing and logic board)
Park the truck on a level surface, ensure the ignition switch is off, and disconnect both negative battery cables. Remove the engine coolant degas bottle mounting bolts and set the bottle aside (or remove the air intake intake ducting on early models) to access the FICM mounted on the driver-side valve cover. Disconnect the three main electrical wire harness connectors from the bottom of the FICM by depressing the locking tabs and pulling straight down, then remove the four mounting nuts securing the FICM rubber isolation brackets to the valve cover and lift the unit from the truck. Place the FICM on a clean, static-free workbench, remove the exterior case screws, and separate the aluminum clamshell housing to expose the factory power board. Remove the internal retaining screws and carefully unplug the factory 48V power board from the lower logic board pins. Inspect and clean the internal chassis contact surfaces, align the new BD 58V board pins over the logic board header, and press down evenly until fully seated. Reinstall the internal mounting screws, reassemble the aluminum housing with its sealing gasket to maintain weather-tight protection, and bolt the FICM back onto the valve cover isolators. Reconnect the three harness plugs until they click into full lock, reattach the degas bottle, reconnect both negative battery cables, and turn the key to the run position for 30 seconds to verify smooth injector pre-cycle before starting the engine.
