Some 2003-2009 Ram Cummins trucks left the factory with a 2-inch intercooler core, and that thicker tank is the one that cracks. Replace that core with the CSF 6072. It is the old-style tube-and-fin cooler, not the 1-1/4 inch CSF 6009.
