The Diamond Eye K5314A-RP is a 5 inch aluminized turbo-back exhaust for 1994-1997 Ford F-250 and F-350 trucks with the 7.3L Powerstroke. A straight pipe replaces the muffler for maximum flow on a built or hard-working truck.
The kit starts with a 3 inch two-piece downpipe, bolts to your factory catalytic converter and then opens up to 5 inch tubing out to a single passenger side exit. It fits all cab and bed lengths and includes the hangers, clamps and hardware.

- Fitment: 1994-1997 Ford F-250/F-350 with the 7.3L Powerstroke, all cab and bed lengths. Reuses the factory catalytic converter.
- Installation Tip: The firewall pinch seam near the bell housing has to be bent away for the 3 inch downpipe. Hang the system loosely and do not tighten any clamps until everything is aligned.

Is the catalytic converter hollowed out or is it an actual catalytic converter

The catalytic converter doesn't come with the exhaust. You use your current factory cat.
