The DPC F4RHD is a heavy-duty triple-disc converter for a 1994–2003 7.3 with an E4OD or a 4R100. It is the stock-stall unit. The low-stall version is F4RHDLS, about 1,800 rpm. DPC rates this family past 1,000 hp.

The unit is 13 inches, with an extreme-duty billet cover and a full billet lockup. The clutch pack is three discs. The internals are reinforced for a modified truck. The flex plate has to be the 6-stud pattern. The warranty is lifetime from DPC. The medium-duty stock-stall unit is F4RMD.

It fits 1994–2003 F-250 through F-550 and 2000–2003 Excursion trucks with a 6-stud E4OD or 4R100.

Count the studs on the converter you pull. A 4-stud E4OD will not take this cover. If you want the lower stall, order F4RHDLS. Under 500 hp, the medium-duty unit is F4RMD.
