The DieselSite CFIK is a bypass coolant filter for a 1999–2003 7.3 Powerstroke. It filters a small amount of coolant on each pass. The 1994.5–1997 kit is CFIK97.
SCA scale and casting sand eat the water pump, the radiator, and the hose necks. This kit catches that grit. It does not strip the additive out of the coolant. The spin-on is a Baldwin B5134. Fittings, hose, and stainless clamps are in the box. Change the filter every 3 months for the first 9 months. A filter that stops flow to the degas bottle is full.
It fits 1999–2003 Super Duty 7.3 trucks.

Install it before a new water pump if the old one was eaten. Flush the system if the coolant is already muddy. The filter is not a substitute for the right coolant.
