The DieselSite HPOL73 replaces both factory high pressure oil hoses on 1994-2003 Ford 7.3L Powerstroke engines. Each line runs from the high pressure oil pump to a cylinder head rail and uses stainless braided hose with an anti-abrasion coating.
The factory hoses rely on quick-connect ends that crack and leak oil into the valley, which drops ICP and causes hard starts. This kit swaps those connectors for threaded stainless ends and new fittings at both the pump and the rails, so one kit covers both OBS and Super Duty trucks.

- Installation Tip: Remove and discard the check springs behind the factory pump fittings. Run the line with two 90 degree ends to the passenger rail from the rear pump outlet, and the 90 and straight line to the driver rail from the front outlet.

Have you installed this new line set from diesel site? Do you have installation instructions? I did it today they are long, I’d like to know how it was intended to be installed.

If you need an exact figure you probably will need to contact Dieselsite directly. They meet or exceed factory PSI ratings.

I cheaped out and bought some hoses off Amazon. Put the truck together after 7k in upgrades and found the Amazon hoses were crap. I again left the truck down because I did not want to drive it with the crap hoses on it. Ordered these from full force, arrived fast as usual and fit perfectly with no weird kinks and twists in them. 1000 miles on the truck do far and no issues. Lesson learned for sure!
Installation Tips:
- DISCARD THE CHECK SPRINGS FROM BEHIND YOUR FACTORY FITTINGS; DO NOT REINSTALL.
- Two (2) 90° adapters are supplied for your convenience in routing configuration.
- Two (2) spare o-rings are supplied for the oil rail plugs should you choose to relocate.
