The DPC F4RHDLS is a heavy-duty triple-disc converter for a 1994–2003 7.3 with an E4OD or a 4R100. It is the low-stall unit, about 200 rpm under stock, around 1,800 rpm. DPC rates it past 1,000 hp. The medium-duty converter is F4RMDLS.

The unit is 13 inches, with an extreme-duty billet cover and a full billet lockup. The clutch pack is three discs. The impeller hub is flanged, and the bearings are Torrington. The red cap is the identifier. The flex plate has to be the 6-stud pattern. The warranty is lifetime from DPC.

It fits 1994–2003 F-250 through F-550 and 2000–2003 Excursion trucks with a 6-stud E4OD or 4R100.

Count the studs on the converter you pull. A 4-stud E4OD will not take this cover. A stock input shaft should come out at the same time on a truck this strong. Under 500 hp, the medium-duty unit is F4RMDLS.
