Key Benefits
The F4RHDLS features a larger 13" heavy-duty design (vs. the factory 12"), an extreme-duty billet front cover, and a full billet lock-up mechanism. The triple-disc clutch pack provides substantially more surface area for improved torque capacity and reduced slippage under load. Internally reinforced components, including a flanged impeller hub and Torrington bearings, allow it to handle elevated horsepower and torque levels—rated for 1000+ HP applications.
The low-stall calibration (approximately 200 RPM under stock, around 1800 RPM) helps the converter pull into the 7.3’s powerband sooner, improving throttle response, towing performance, and overall drivability compared to a stock-stall converter.
