7.3 Powerstroke FFD Up Pipes + Pedestal Delete + Billet Compressor Wheel Kit (1999.5–2003)

Upgrade your 7.3 Powerstroke’s turbo system in one complete package. This kit combines three of the most effective and popular reliability + performance upgrades for the stock GTP38 turbo: high-quality bellowed up-pipes, an EBPV-deleted pedestal with high-flow outlet flange, and a lightweight FFD billet compressor wheel.

    What’s Included

    • Bellowed Up-Pipes – Eliminate the factory donut gaskets that commonly leak, causing ticking noises, power loss, and black smoke. The bellowed design allows for proper thermal expansion and contraction so the seal stays tight for the long haul.
    • EBPV-Deleted Turbo Pedestal & Outlet Flange – Completely removes the restrictive Exhaust Back Pressure Valve (warm-up valve). This stops oil leaks from the pedestal area, improves exhaust flow, and enhances turbo response. The new pedestal is also more compact, making reassembly easier.
    • FFD Billet Compressor Wheel – CNC-machined from solid billet aluminum (only 96 grams vs. the stock 122-gram cast wheel). Features an aggressive extended-tip 6-blade design that cures compressor surge, spools faster, supports 4–7 psi more boost potential, and helps lower EGTs. Direct bolt-on to the stock turbo—no modifications required. Made in the USA.

    Why This Kit Matters

Factory up-pipes and the EBPV are two of the most common failure points on 1999.5–2003 7.3s. While the turbo is out, upgrading the compressor wheel transforms the stock turbo’s response and airflow. Owners typically notice sharper throttle response, reduced surge, stronger mid-range power, and a more reliable, leak-free turbo system.

Fitment: 7.3 Powerstroke 1999.5–2003 (vehicles built on or after 12/7/1998). Not compatible with early 1999 trucks (use the dedicated early-99 kit instead).

This is the smart, one-and-done solution when you’re already in the turbo area—fix the chronic leaks, delete the EBPV, and give the stock turbo a meaningful performance upgrade at the same time.

Ive bought two of these kits for both of my 7.3s and Ive never had any problems out of either kits. Turbo pedestal orings are a common problem on these trucks and the EBPV is just another problem that needs to be deleted while you are down there. Do your self a favor if your truck has leaking Orings and just get this kit take care all of it at once and the new pedestal is smaller so putting all of it back together is easier cause you dont have bulky pedestal all in your way. Ive put thousands of miles on both kits and no issues.
    Great purchase
