The Ford F81Z-7277-BB is the shifter boot for a ZF6. Riffraff lists it for 1999–2010. It is the rubber boot at the floor, not the knob and not the shift tower.

A split boot lets dust and water into the cab, and it lets heat up from the tunnel. It is a direct fit. Screws and the seal come with the Ford boot. About five minutes if the console is already off. An automatic uses a different boot.

It fits 1999–2010 Super Duty trucks with a ZF6, including the 7.3, the 6.0, and the 6.4.

Replace it when the transmission is out. A 20-year-old boot tears when the tower moves. A 4R100 shifter is a different part.
