The Ford F81Z-9J338-NA is a genuine OEM complete fuel line set for the factory fuel filter bowl on 1999–2003 7.3 Powerstroke engines. It includes the pre-bent rigid steel feed and return lines connecting the fuel filter bowl to the cylinder head fuel rail ports and return junction. Ford manufactures each tube from heavy-wall, corrosion-resistant coated steel to match factory routing contours and includes pre-installed threaded compression tube nuts and sealing sleeves.

Persistent valley fuel leaks, cross-threaded line nuts from prior work, or fatigued, cracked metal lines after turbo or pedestal replacements are what this set addresses. Over time, engine vibration and repeated loosening work-harden the factory hard lines, causing them to crack at the flares or weep diesel fuel continuously into the engine valley. It is the metal fuel bowl feed and return line set only; the fuel filter bowl assembly and bowl mounting hardware are not included.

It fits 1999–2003 7.3 Powerstroke trucks, Excursions, and E-Series vans.

Depressurize and drain the fuel filter bowl completely before removing old lines. Start all tube nuts by hand several threads into the fuel bowl and cylinder head ports before tightening any of them down to ensure proper alignment and prevent stripping the soft brass fittings. Tighten fittings progressively to factory torque specifications; do not overtighten, as crushing the internal sealing sleeves can pinch fuel flow or cause premature line weeping.
