The BD Diesel 1064194BM TorqueMaster package pairs a rebuilt 48RE automatic with a matched ProForce 3D triple-disc torque converter and a billet input shaft for 2003-2004 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 4WD trucks with the 5.9L Cummins. The stock 48RE and input shaft were not built for added fuel and heavy trailers, so soft shifts, burned clutches and input-shaft failure become common once power climbs.

BD installs a revised valve body for higher apply pressure, upgrades the governor solenoid and transducer, replaces stock thrust washers with Torrington roller bearings, and adds a billet fine-spline input shaft.
