The Banks 42210-D is a Ram-Air intake for a 1999–2003 7.3 Powerstroke. The D is the dry filter. The oiled kit is 42210.

The housing is enclosed, so it pulls outside air instead of under-hood heat. The tube is larger than stock, with fewer bends, and the filter is Banks’ dry element, washable and not oiled. Banks lists about 16 hp and 32 lb-ft. It bolts on with no cutting. CARB EO D-161-146 is on the intake. It also fits an early-1999 Super Duty.

It fits 1999–2003 F-250 through F-550 and 2000–2003 Excursion trucks. A 1994–1997 OBS uses a different intake.
